Establishing WELLASA GROUP was the result of Dennis Gonsiorovsky’s life long desire and passion. Developing brands and guiding companies through the process to get to the next level in different parts of the world, led Dennis to continue his unique style and approach in the South Africa. His gift has been his ability to turn brands and struggling companies into something special and of added value to the owner and community.
There is always a way to solve the problem and Dennis has the experience and tenacity to see the project to completion.

Dean is an experienced business director and CFO with extensive international experience and has served on multiple boards.
He has a B.Comm from University of Cape Town and is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has also completed a management diploma at London Business School.
Dean is currently the Regional Director for the CFO Centre in the Winelands region of South Africa. In this capacity, he works with various companies advising them on growth strategies and helping them to become operationally more efficient.
Prior to that, he spent 10 years working in the Middle East and East Africa. In this time, he gained extensive experience in the real estate, construction and services sectors in the Middle East and also served as Group CFO for a significant engineering business based in East Africa. He also raised significant amounts of finance for these businesses in the debt and equity markets in this time.
Prior to moving overseas, Dean held senior positions in the financial services and insurance sectors In South Africa with multinational companies.
In his spare time, he is a regular cyclist and golfer and has been involved with charities supporting the inhabitants of his hometown. He also has private business interests in the fashion and music industries and is a non-executive director of various companies.
Phillip Rutherford is a skilled Business Advisor with 12 years of experience in mergers, sales and acquisitions of small to medium-sized businesses. Before that, he served for 25 years in the chemicals and plastics divisions of AECI and SASOL, two large South African corporations, where he was at various times technical, marketing and sales director. Since then, he has bought, sold and founded several of his own small businesses. Phillip is qualified with an MSc and an MBA degree and is registered with the Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority as a Master Practitioner. Phillip presently works under Sentinel Commercial Services Group as a Principal Business Broker. He is also vice president of the South African Business Brokers Association and founder and CEO of the Business Brokers Academy. In his free time, he enjoys investing, swimming and mountain biking.
